IBM Business Consulting Services

Vantage Point Consulting assisted IBM with the development of a $150 million proposal to the U.S. Army. Vantage Point wrote the technical solution for their tiered help desk solution, customer relationship management tool, help desk knowledge management tool, and quality control processes. As a result of our work, a 10-year contract was awarded to IBM. Vantage Point Consulting provides ongoing consulting to the project on help desk and customer service quality best practice solutions.

Vantage Point Consulting is currently leading the use case development, requirements validation, system testing, regression testing, and acceptance testing teams for the U.S. Army's online education management system, GoArmyEd.  Vantage Point is using the Rational Unified Process to manage the development lifecycle and Rational tools including Requisite Pro for requirements management, Rational Quality Management for system test case and script management, and Rational Clearquest for defect management.

The Marshall Goldsmith School of Management (MGSM) at Alliant International University

Vantage Point Consulting provides ongoing project leadership and business consulting services to assist MGSM with enrollment management and marketing goals. In one initiative, we provided website analytics, developed a team strategy for redesigning the website to for a target market, defined MGSM's key differentiators and value messages, rewrote Web content, and oversaw site construction and launch. As part of a separate initiative, Vantage Point Consulting evaluated and redesigned Alliant's entire admissions organization across multiple campuses and programs.

Baker College

Vantage Point Consulting has led strategic-planning workshops with Baker College leadership to help define specific objectives and create concrete action plans. Our client was able to get "unstuck" and mobilize with the assistance of Vantage Point project leadership and facilitators skilled in higher-education recruitment and retention, marketing strategy, and project management. Baker College is an active participant in the Vantage Point Military Marketing Program.

Thomas Edison State College (TESC)

Vantage Point Consulting provides outsourced student advising and mentoring* solutions to TESC students from virtual home offices. Program Mentors contact students throughout the student lifecycle to help students set educational goals, select an appropriate degree plan, complete their enrollment processes, and provide ongoing and proactive support and encouragement to help students meet their long-term educational goals. Vantage Point is also providing an admissions process evaluation to aid in new enrollments and retention.

Central Texas College (CTC)

CTC is a major provider of educational opportunities to active duty Army personnel. Vantage Point Consulting recently worked with CTC to develop a new framework and process for identifying at-risk students.  The process uses data from multiple systems, including the course management system, and incorporates it into a risk database.  Instructors use the database to pre-identify new students on their class roster at the start of the class who may require additional assistance based on risk factors.  Vantage Point helped identify the automated and in-person interventions required for each risk tier.

Vantage Point Program Mentors* work closely with CTC students as the students work towards degree completion. Mentors provide ongoing, proactive support and encouragement to students, helping them identify and meet their educational goals. CTC is also an active participant in our Military Marketing Program.

Rio Salado College Online

Vantage Point Consulting provides outsourced student advising and mentoring* solutions to Rio students.  Vantage Point Program Mentors contact students throughout the educational lifecycle, aid them in setting goals, and then continue to provide ongoing, proactive support and encouragement.  Vantage Point also provides military marketing services on an as-needed basis.

Pierce College

Pierce College outsources student mentoring* services to Vantage Point Consulting.  Our Program Mentors contact students throughout the student lifecycle to help them set educational goals. Mentors then provide ongoing and proactive support to help students meet those goals.

Coastline Community College (CCC)

Vantage Point Consulting provides outsourced student advising and mentoring* solutions to Pierce College students. Program Mentors contact students throughout the student lifecycle to help them set educational goals. Mentors continue to work with students on an ongoing and proactive basis to help them meet their goals.

Vantage Point Consulting has partnered with the
Portland  PMI Chapter to provide on-demand access to
a library of SkillSoft online training content that enables PMI members to earn the professional development units (PDUs) required to retain their project management certification.
